During WWII, a new, practical jacket was designed for the American tank crews in Europe. It became popular with Air Force pilots because it was lightweight but offered three season warmth due to the dark olive wool blend blanket lining. This style has recently been redesigned for a more correct shoulder fit. In WWII British Khaki color.

best jacket I ever had

I saw this jacket at the Smithsonian air and space museum and loved it. My wife surprised me for my birthday. If feels great,very warm. Best of all I get compliments about it were ever I go.Very good quality made in the USA!!

Ex U.S.ARMY Armor Captain

This Tanker Jacket is of outstanding quality. Much better than the one I purchased when I was first commissioned. However I ordered a 2Extra Large and I a need 3Extra Large which seems unavailable. So unless I can arrange to get a 3Extra Large size Tanker Jacket I must return this 2XLG Tanker Jacket. Jacket

Satisfied

I ordered the Tanker jacket from Legendary because of some reviews about customer service on several forums. it was supposed to ship FREE in 3 to five days. After four days of checking the order status I sent an e-mail and was advised it was out of stock. I informed Legendary I was leaving the following WED and asked if the jacket arrived on Monday if they would overnight. The did and it arrived
