First, the dealer. Second, the jacket:
Legendary USA: Outstanding price (on sale for nearly $200 less than Schott's site/store!), great customer service (I called and had measurements made of an XL and 2XL to decide), amazing free shipping (arrived in exactly 24 hours, with a FedEx truck somehow making it to the top of my mountain in a snowstorm)!
Scott 654: Exactly what I wanted, a snazzy café racer STYLE jacket, but in lighter leather and minus the moto jacket features not necessary for a non-rider (bi-swing back, zip-out liner, side buckles, etc.) The jacket is well made of good materials, as you'd expect from Schott. The only cheap shot is the sleeve zippers, which are purely cosmetic: they don't have an inner loop of leather and zipping/unzipping them makes no difference in the seal of the sleeve. Again, this feature is unnecessary for a non-rider, but it feels like a tacky construction shortcut. I have fit issues - I'm getting the sleeves taken up three inches - but that's due to my own short-and-wide build... the sleeves are too long on whatever I get (having sufficient waist/gut girth is always the critical measurement for me). Anyway, it's an awesome jacket!
